“When they came to kill the Zed, it was a nice day.”
First line in Mister Impossible by Maggie Stiefvater

Somehow, 2022 is almost over which means I’m bringing you my TBR for the winter season through Top Ten Tuesday, hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
Looking back on my TBR for fall, I missed one book: Ordinary Monsters by J. M. Miro which is funny because I think that was the one I was most excited about. I still am so I’m planning on starting it within the next week. But let’s take a look at what I’ll be reading for the next couple of months!

- Greywaren (Dreamer Trilogy #3) by Maggie Stiefvater
- Legendborn (Legendborn #1) by Tracy Deonn
- The Ruin of Kings (A Chorus of Dragons #1) by Jenn Lyons
- A Ladder to the Sky by John Boyne

- The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas
- The Atlas Paradox (The Atlas #2) by Olivie Blake
- The Witness for the Dead (The Cemeteries of Amalo #1) by Katherine Addison
- The Tangled Lands by Paolo Baciagalupi

New year means starting new series so that’s what I’ll be doing primarily. I’m also expecting to catch up with new releases such as Greywaren and The Atlas Paradox. I didn’t actually like The Atlas Six but I’m too intrigued by Callum to not continue. Have you read any of these? Let me know if I have something to look forward to!

I hope you love all of these!

Definitely keep me updated on The Atlas Paradox! I don’t even mind if you spoil me because my expectations are so low that I highly doubt I’m going to care either way 😎
Also, judging by how far along I am so far, I’d say The Witness for the Dead is worth looking forward to 😊 I don’t love it quite as much as The Goblin Emperor (yet?), but I am really enjoying it, even if I just can’t seem to find the time to continue listening 😥 And while they aren’t among my absolute favorites, Legendborn and The Hate U Give are pretty good, too!

You mean to tell me you’re not on the edge of your seat to find out why Blake has such an obsession with anything Danish? I mean solving that mystery must surely be the plot of this second book, but sure, I’ll keep you updated on my findings 😄
But good to know that about Witness for the Dead! I’m also not going into it excepting it to be like The Goblin Emperor because it does sound like something different 😊

I mean, sure, I’m interested – I’m just skeptical we’re actually going to get any answers! My prediction is that there’s just going to be lots of big words, awkward sex scenes, and Parisa being horrible instead 🙄 But I might even be willing to read it IF I managed to find a freely accessible copy somewhere and if it meant we could rant about it together. But I am not paying another cent for that series!! So you telling me what happens seems like the easiest option 😉

The cover of THE TANGLED LANDS is so intriguing! I might have to check it out. I hope you enjoy all these.
Happy TTT!
